For over a decade, Founder and Executive Director, Pierre Lockett, has worked toward the dream of providing quality dance education to children across Chicago. Since its inception, FMC has reached over 45,000 children with the transformational power of dance.
The celebration will feature an exciting program of FMC student performances along with a cocktail dinner reception, raffle, paddle raise, and more!
The 2025 Relevé Soirée Honoree
This year, we're proudly honoring the contributions of Kevin Iega Jeff, a celebrated dance educator, choreographer, and cultural community builder. He co-founded Chicago’s Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in 1995, setting the stage for the future Deeply Rooted Center for Black Dance and Creative Communities. He has helped nurture the talent of many FMC students through his masterclasses. We're delighted to shine a light on his work.
Proceeds from the annual Relevé Soirée gala help fund FMC's Summer Dance Camp, Free Saturday Dance Class Series, and programming throughout the year.
